The Indiana Fire Code Section 307.5 says:
“Charcoal burners and other open-flame cooking devices shall not be operated on combustible balconies or within 10 feet (3048 mm) of combustible construction.”
Grills Approved for Willow Creek Crossing Apartments
You can get a flameless electric grill that looks very much like a conventional grill, and cook out on your patio all summer long.
A couple options of flameless electric grills include the Easy Street 1,500-Watt Electric Grill
and the Cuisinart 1,500-Watt Electric Grill:
Barbecue Grills are Available in Willow Creek Crossing Park Areas
We know the open flame grill ban may be unpopular with residents, but we are only following state law, and working to keep our residents as safe as possible. That’s why, here at Willow Creek Crossing Apartments, we have several approved barbecue grills for your use. Two are in the park area by the leasing office, and two are in the park area just off Mill Run.
