Fort Wayne: So Many Fun Reasons to Love Living Here
Fort Wayne’s got some pretty great stuff going on, right? Livability.com sure thinks so. They recently ranked our city #6 in its 2015 “Top 10 Best Affordable Places to Live”
Livability.com cited the low costs of transportation, housing and groceries as the indicators that put Fort Wayne on their “affordable” list. But what put it on their “best places to live” radar was the wide array of entertainment options. They listed the “museums and art galleries, the public parks, the zoo, the Philharmonic, the Johnny Appleseed Festival, the Three Rivers Festival, IPFW, and our minor league hockey, baseball, and basketball teams.”
Yep, they’re right! Where else but Fort Wayne can you rent an apartment starting at only $450 a month and have so many great entertainment options! But wait, there’s more they didn’t even mention:
- great music and other entertainment at the Embassy, Memorial Coliseum, and on the stages of lots of local bars like the Phoenix , CS3, and Brass Rail
