Summer’s here, you’re hot and ready to take that first dip…but, before you go, please take note of a few rules that are often misunderstood or ignored:Per the Board of Health: You must be 14 years old to swim without an adult.  Thus, teenagers under the age of 18 may not be responsible for others under the age of 14.

Responsible babysitters over the age of 14 may be allowed to watch children if they show that they are certified in water safety instruction, CPR and first aid.  Residents aged 14 to 17 may be issued an ID when accompanied to the office by the resident guardian who can verify their age.

  • There is a limit to the number of persons permitted in the pool.  During heavy usage, guest privileges may be revoked.
  • Residents must accompany guests (limited to one per adult resident) at the pool.
  • All swimmers must wear proper swimming attire.  Street clothes are not permitted.
  • Residents must have their ID with them.
