Valentine’s Day: Think Outside the (Candy) Box
Valentine’s Day is just a few days away. Have you made plans for you and your loved one? Sure, candy, flowers or dining out are all nice ideas. But doesn’t he or she deserve more than “nice”?
This year, think outside the (candy) box and try something new. Here are a few ideas to get the creativity flowing for an amazing Valentine’s Weekend:
Try a New Adventure Together
Feeling adventurous? Skiing, rock climbing is just a short drive from Fort Wayne, or for something more local, head to Sky Zone Trampoline Park to bounce the day away.
Get Moving
Not up for an adventure? Try a tamer activity, but still something that develops a new skill
you can share, like a dancing, cooking, or yoga class.
Get Artsy
Create your own masterpiece by taking a painting class at Wine and Canvas, Painting with a Twist or Painting Fun Spot.
See a Show
Go on a date to something out of the ordinary like a comedy club or a rock show at a local club.
Grab a Bite to Eat
If you both have your hearts set on a traditional dinner out at a nice restaurant — nothing wrong with that — try something really risqué: both agree to go tech-free (no phones, no Apple watches, no photos, no Facebook, no Instagram, etc…) for the entire evening! He or she is worth it, right?
Whatever you do, have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
